Meet the Peace Alien 👽✌️
The Peace Alien is a playful tapestry crochet design inspired by my belief that the universe is bigger than we can imagine—and that somewhere beyond our little corner of it, there has to be more.
I designed the Peace Alien as a reminder to choose peace, kindness, and the greater good, wherever we are in the universe.
My Patterns Are a Little Different
My tapestry crochet patterns are created for experienced crocheters who enjoy making their own creative choices. Instead of telling you exactly which yarn, hook, gauge, or finished size you must use, I give you the design and let you decide where to take it.
The Peace Alien pattern includes a tapestry crochet chart and written instructions, along with the stitch and row counts you need to work the design.
Choose your favorite yarn. Pick the hook that works for you. Change the colors. Experiment with the scale.
Some of my designs are large and detailed, so they aren't created around one predetermined finished project. The chart is the starting point—not the limitation.

Artist Statement
I’ve always been drawn to making things that are a little unexpected—sometimes inspired by the ocean, sometimes by nature, and sometimes by aliens, monsters, and whatever else happens to wander into my imagination.
My work has taken many forms over the years, but my newest direction brings that creativity to tapestry crochet design. I create bold, graphic patterns for experienced crocheters who want the freedom to make their own creative choices.
My patterns are intentionally different. Rather than prescribing a specific yarn, hook, gauge, or finished project, I create the design itself and leave the rest in the maker’s hands. Change the colors. Change the scale. Turn it into a wall hanging, bag, blanket, garment—or something I never imagined.
I believe making should leave room for curiosity, experimentation, and individuality. A pattern doesn't always have to tell you exactly what to make.
